FAMILIAS UNIDAS – Immigration Legal Services

Community Council of Idaho’s Immigration Legal Services Program, Familias Unidas, offers affordable immigration legal services to families and individuals in Canyon County and the surrounding areas. Accredited by the Department of Justice as a non-profit organization to offer low-cost immigration legal services, Familias Unidas provides legal consultations and assistance for family-based petitions and applications, citizenship, DACA, TPS, and victims of certain violent crimes. Familias Unidas also offers legal representation for asylum applicants already in removal proceedings. Services are currently provided by DOJ accredited representatives. The cost of services is determined using a sliding-fee schedule based on total household income.

Familias Unidas mission is to help keep families together by assisting low-income clients in achieving not just legal status and economic self-sufficiency, but also in becoming fully active participants in the social and civic life of our community through exceptional immigration legal services, education, and advocacy.

Consultations are $40 and by appointment only. For persons outside of the Treasure Valley area, consultations via Skype are available on a case-by-case basis. Familias Unidas is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please call (208) 453-3107 to schedule a consultation appointment, or email either Brandy S. Perez at or Raquel Reyes at
