"Ayuda para Nuestras Familias"
Relief Fund & Application
Many of Idaho’s agricultural and immigrant families have kept working despite the danger of exposure to COVID-19. The Idaho Immigrant Resource Alliance (IIRA) was formed in response to the pandemic as a way to provide resources and rapid response needs. The alliance consists of nine non-profits whose goal is to help the immigrant and farm working communities of Idaho during the COVID-19 pandemic. This pandemic has deemed these communities as essential. They put food on our tables as well as work in different industries to keep our economy going.
The Ayuda Para Nuestras Familias relief fund is now open to applicants who need funds in order to get through this tough time. In order to apply applicants must be an agricultural worker and or an immigrant, living in Idaho, and going through financial hardship due to the pandemic. Priority will be given to those who are undocumented, who have lost their wages, hours, and or jobs due to COVID-19 and who are at high risk of contracting the virus, and/or may have gotten sick or are caring for loved ones who have the virus.
The first round of applications are now being accepted. Please be aware that not all will qualified for funding and or funds may run out due to high volume of applicants.
